Conventional demand study approaches use stated share as prediction for future share “as is” or calibrate stated share using ad-hoc calibration algorithms. At SRI, calibration of stated share is done via a scientific calibration algorithm, AccuShare™, that follows the real-world process of information dissemination. Our methodology has been validated across multiple therapy areas, demonstrating strong alignment between predicted and actual market shares.

In addition to our scientific calibration model, our demand studies incorporate multiple data sources, including claims data, individualized patient charts, simulated patient profiles, and physician surveys. This unique, customized approach enables healthcare providers to make treatment decisions based on real-world and hypothetical patient scenarios, improving realism and flexibility in forecasting. The combination of claims-based and simulated patient profiles allows for detailed segmentation by disease severity, treatment history, and patient type, supporting nuanced market insights.
