EchoPersona™ is a digital twin offering from SRI that helps brand teams test different creative concepts without the need to commission a traditional marketing research study. Use of synthetic respondents or digital twins are done with a goal to save cost and time when testing alternative creative concepts provided by ad agencies.
Use of GenAI for concept testing has been attempted by different firms using prompt engineering and providing aggregate persona descriptions in text format. These descriptions are borrowed from results of segmentation studies or other results available with the brand teams. These approaches do NOT reflect the variation of respondents within an aggregate description of a group. For example, these approaches assume that all doctors within a segment or specialty react the same way to the creative concept, which is far from the truth at a real-world level.
SRI’s digital twin methodology overcomes this serious limitation, by creating personas at an INDIVIDUAL LEVEL and not at an aggregate segment or specialty level. Our approach, derived from state-of-the art academic literature, does not let the core LLM or the prompting text define the persona or the answers. Our methodology preserves individual variability of your target physicians and creates a digital twin for each of your target physicians.
