Job Description

Work in small teams to successfully guide sales and marketing strategy for pharmaceutical clients. Primarily focus on analyzing pharmaceutical data sets; Excel expertise is a requirement. Use state-of-the-art data analysis tools to analyze pharmaceutical market behavior. This is a client-facing role.

Associate Manager, Analytics will:

  • Develop analytical approaches, summarize findings in presentations, make recommendations
  • Client management
  • Work on exciting analytics projects that leverage patient level transaction data across various therapy areas
  • Translate business requirements into analytical initiatives and communicate with business data analysts, when necessary
  • Learn and use state-of-the-art analytics
  • Generate custom datasets by combining data across various sources, based on need
  • Develop and maintain efficient, well-documented and reusable codes
  • Analyze survey and / or secondary data to tease out insights and provide answers to clients’ business questions
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the analyses are correctly interpreted and communicated to the client
  • Conduct and QC some data analysis using SAS, R, Python and ensure quality excellence

Opportunities for Growth: On this track, there are opportunities to grow into the Engagement Manager role, and eventually into the Senior Engagement Manager role. These roles include increased client interaction and additional project management.

Qualifications

  • ProficiencywithExcel required; experiencein SAS, R, Python, SQL, Tableau is a plus
  • US Pharma experience is preferred
  • Experience in data analysis is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Critical thinking, analytical mindset, and intellectual curiosity are essential
  • Attention to detail is required
  • Willing to work in a consulting environment
  • Willing to take responsibility
  • High-energy individual, “can-do” attitude a must
  • Candidate should be flexible in terms of type of work and schedule
  • Good communication skills are a plus
  • Ability to turn data into insights is a plus
